MAJOR G33KOUT

I don't think I've been this excited since... since... since...?!

The last time that two of my all time musical heroes collaborated with each other as individuals to create an album - it practically invented sampling and changed the way people thought about music. It was 1981 and the album was called My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.

The two individuals in question? David Byrne and Brian Eno.

It's called Everything That Happens Will Happen Today and will be available exclusively from http://www.everythingthathappens.com/ from August 18th. On top of that, David Byrne will be touring the record from September, although it's just the US who'll have the privilege for the moment.

In the meantime, there's a free track available for download in exchange for mailing list sign up, and it has seriously got me twitching with anticipation. Here it is for all of you lazy people who won't take two minutes to sign up.
