In Motion: He Says That He Got In Trouble

HURTS - Wonderful Life

I'd heard a lot about this video and finally caught a glimpse courtesy of FUCKING DANCE. Everything about both the video and the track are incredible.

Wonderful Life sounds like a classic that I'd long since forgotten but suddenly stumbled upon to remember why I loved it in the first place, the video hammers that home even more with the black and white vibe.

HURTS are the result of the gradual development of Manchester bands Bureau and Daggers and are about as hot as it gets right now.

AMAZING video, the dancer takes it to another level.

I love this track and video. The attempts to be cryptic on the Myspace are borderline offensive though.

If someone - anyone - in the music industry had *any* intelligence these guys would be snapped up immediately and promoted to the hilt. But no, they have a 'Google' unfriendly band name, NO label (as far as I know), and a Myspace page that has little to no useful information on it.

No if's or but's these three are the real deal musically and SHOULD be absolutely massive - but will they be???? Sadly without some big time promotion (or at least a decent Myspace page) I fear they will remain virtually unknown and die like the earlier Bureau and Daggers projects did.

That would be truly criminal...

I don't think it's going to be a problem this time around, Hurts have some serious management behind them and it's all in the making at the moment. I hope that the band go all the way and I think it's their best shot right now.

You may be pleased to know that Hurts are on Polydor, and while they may seem to be fading into obscurity, it's actually quite the opposite.

It's a soft approach, but boy, all this needs is one, tiny, little section of airtime on our airwaves for it to be launched into all of our lives, in a big way, forever!!! Or at least for 2010.

WATCH OUT!!!

I'm not sure where you're getting your information from, but at least the second half is right.

They are signed to Biff Stannard's Major Label, which is a subsidary of Sony. Not Polydor I'm afraid. Biff worked with them when they were in Daggers.

Live shows in the new year too, just hope that they can live up to the expectation and keep going!
